At Blue Square poker, players have been playing all summer so far, and will be delighted to see the new promotions that the site has in store for them.
If they enjoy playing tournaments at bluesquarepoker.co.uk, and gaurantee tournaments specifically, then this particular one should grab their attention. $2.5 million gauranteed in an end of summer bonanza, which is one tournament that cannot be missed.
Also Blue Square has recently started a V.I.P points system to keep up to date with usual customer expectations of a favoured poker site. This will work in the following way.
Any real money which is used on the poker site, whether it is in tournaments or cash games, equates to points accumulation for the player. These points can then be used to buy into great value tournaments.
One of the most exciting promotions in effect at this moment at www.bluesquarepoker.co.uk in time is the ‘Summer Cash Dash’. This involves cash prizes being paid out to players every week dependant on the amount of raked hands played. So even if you win whilst playing, you could be in line for another bonus pay out simply for playing lots of poker.
This promotion runs throughout July and is decided via a leaderboard which is available for players to view at any time. The points are awarded for playing the highest amount of raked hands, so it is basically a case of being paid to play more online poker than the players around you.
These excellent summer offers I am sure will be followed up with more as the autumn comes in, so look out for more poker promotions coming soon at Blue Square.

This is a question which requires an opinionated answer and so I cannot say factually that one tournament at coral pocker is better than an other, it depends entirely on what suits you as a player.
What I can say however, is that for me, re buy tournaments are a no go zone, it goes completely against the whole idea of poker that you can throw all your chips in with poor judgement, get it entirely wrong and lose, and still… carry on playing in the tournament.
Poker tournaments at www.coralpocker.com should be about survival. Giving people as many chances to try again as their bankroll allows, just doesn’t seem right.
Freezeout tournaments are my preferance, and guaranteed poker tournaments usually offer good value for money too.
When it comes to tournament preferances though, I don’t feel the online poker experience offers quite the same experience as a live game, and doesn’t improve the sharpness of your game in quite the same way either.
It is of course often more difficult to find a live game and so online tournaments at coralpocker.com will suffice if needs be. I feel that different types of tournaments and indeed games too, such as five card draw and Omaha hi/lo (to name two of my non Holdem favourites) can help to keep your focus and interest on the game at 100%.
Even the most avid Holdem fans I’m sure, get a little worn out by it at times and need a change. But whatever you choose to play, it is only important that you make progress in improving your game as well as enjoying the tournament you are playing, whatever type it is.

Online play at Pkr.com is for me, one of the greatest experiences you will get with online poker play.
All the 2D poker sites seem to be lagging behind the development of the online poker game as a whole, in many respects. I suppose the argument is whether 3D avatars and character animations really give you that much extra to warrant the changes being implemented elsewhere.
For me it would be an easy decision, because it isn’t just those 3D characters and animations, there are many more subtleties that it brings to greatly improve the poker play. Players checking their cards must be aware that other players can see you checking them, and this gives an extra ‘tell’ which is lifelike and great for the play.
Shadows move, dealers shuffle cards, and there are a great many backgrounds to the tables at www.pkr.com which make it a truly stunning experience. Also it gives a very personalised human element which gives it so much more then the usual 2D sites and that cannot be ignored.
This helps create possibly the most entertaining and realistic game to be found in online poker. Along with these great points Pkr.com also has it’s own televised events which make great viewing for all the same reasons it makes great playing.
This means players can watch their tournaments back and study what they did right and wrong. All in all playing at www.pkr.com is the sort of experience that could put you off 2D sites permanently.
You immediately feel that 2D sites are missing out on so much, and the technological chasm between these types of sites is rather wide. 3D poker is the way forward I feel, and Pkr.com carries it off quite brilliantly.

The sight of professional pkr.com poker players sitting with headphones on whilst they played was not uncommon several years ago with Phil Hellmuth being one of the most notable players to wear them.

I can understand how some players enjoy listening to music whilst they play, as music can both energise a player or sooth frustrations, depending on the type of music. Sometimes when the stresses and strains of playing poker get too much, music can provide an effective way of calming or refocusing a pkr.com players mind. I personally used to listen to music before I went to my local tournament to leave me feeling relaxed and calm by the time I got there.
So there is certainly a case to be made for music being a fair and legitimate help to players, both before and during a www.pkr.com game. I for one, feel it provides a benefit to poker and it’s players. But despite this we must consider the obvious side effects of players listening to music whilst a serious game of poker is being played. Headphones do not have to be all that loud for neighbouring players to hear the music too, and they may find this distracting to their play.
On the grounds of this alone you can see why some people feel it has no place in poker, but also it may distract the listener themselves from exactly what is going on. If a player makes a verbal declaration in a betting round, the player may not hear them and the game is stalled as they are informed that the opponent has raised.
Currently at the WSOP headphones are allowed, but only up to the money paying places. At this point the headphones must come off as the players reach the serious end of the tournament. I feel that when you take the good and bad points of music into account, this is probably a reasonable compromise and the fairest way forward for all concerned, in my opinion. www.pkr.com
